  • WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (November 24, 2014)—Bennett’s Creek Nursery, a wholesale grower located in Smithfield, VA, was recently chosen to provide plant material for the 2014 Southern Living® Showcase Home in Williamsburg, VA. This Showcase Home built by Wayne Harbin Builder, Inc. with landscape installation by Brian Almond, of Living Image Landscape, LLC. Southern Living®, "a premier lifestyle and entertaining magazine of the South and the 6th largest consumer magazine in the U.S.”, collaborates with over 100 of the South’s finest Homebuilders on showcase homes. In 2008, the Southern Living® Plant Collection was first introduced. Bennett’s Creek Nursery is one of few licensed producers in Virginia to grow plant material from this exclusive collection. The Southern Living® Plant Collection items are, “innovative new plants designed to solve specific landscape challenges and to excel in Southern gardens.” These patented plants are only licensed to be produced by growers who meet the strict requirements and standards from Southern Living®. Bennett’s Creek Nursery currently grows several varieties including: 'Soft Caress’ Mahonia, Confetti® Abelia, Blush Pink™ Nandina, ‘Sunshine’ Ligustrum, and Little Black Magic™ Elephant Ears. The nursery offers these materials exclusively to industry professionals through their wholesale distribution centers located in Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Currituck, Williamsburg, as well as the Smithfield growing facility.

Each of our sales people are equipped with iPhones and iPods to streamline the invoicing process, making it faster to get in and out. These devices are also equipped with high resolution cameras. If you need photos of anything on the yard, our sales people can email it to you right away.
